Series 1 and 2 Float Drums are perfect for New Docks and Retrofitting Existing Docks

The Follansbee Series 1&2 float drums are blow-molded from high molecular weight polyethylene. This is the only molding process and material accepted for the manufacturing of automotive fuel tanks. The one piece, blow-molded construction provides maximum strength and long lasting service. The Series float drums are UV stable, have a high impact strength, and are extremely durable. Series floats will not crack or warp from temperature extremes as low as minus 20 degrees F. The floats meet and/or exceeds all Army Corps of Engineers and EPA requirements. All float drums are filled with expanded closed cell polystyrene (EPS) for permanent buoyancy. The polystyrene fill meets and/or exceeds requirements of the Hunt Absorption Test. Series float drums are resistant to gas, oil, saltwater, and are resistant to attack from marine and animal life. Both Series floats have flat tops making them ideal for new construction or float replacement. The tops are molded with recessed areas for running utilities if necessary. The solid mounting flange makes attaching the drums a breeze. All Follansbee Series Floats have a ten- (10) year warranty against cracking and/or splitting of the casing.
